What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a polyphenol that is found in microscopic amounts in a variety of foods which include cranberry, blueberry, peanut butter, grape skin, white wine, and red wine. Through decades of research on first rodents and then repeated the studies on humans, scientists have discovered some amazing benefits of consuming low doses of resveratrol. In rare situations even high doses of resveratrol can be useful for combating cancer for short periods of time.

The amounts of resveratrol found in berries, peanuts, and wine are far too low and would be impossible to consume enough to get the low dose benefits.
