Coaching Terms
I WILL COMMIT TO THE FOLLOWING:
-Fitness Program co-creation session: We sit down together and you get to make the final decisions on every element of your program so that you always enjoy every workout and get the freedom to achieve your goals the way you want.
-Then I’ll design your program and individualize it from the data gathered from your strength/performance test, make sure it progresses safely/effectively, tracks the objective/subjective metrics that show you how much progress you’re making, includes energy, motivation, muscle soreness cells with built in algorithms that will recommend adjustments to loads or volume so you make progress without over stressing your body/injury, it will include exercise coaching videos that thoroughly demonstrate how to set it up, and perform the exercise safely and effectively, it will have a benefits tab to educate you on all the cellular and physiological upgrades your program is doing for you to boost your motivation, it will have a walkthrough/coaching tips tab on how to approach every workout start to finish, it might have a home stretches tab (corrective exercise clients only)
-Conveniently access your program anywhere in the world from any device.
-I show up on time, full of energy, and excited to coach you safely/effectively through each workout in person/google meet from your individualized program so that you get all the benefits from the training methods and make progress towards your goals, I'll spot you on a particular exercise if requested, removing any doubt you may have and allowing you to focus on giving 100% effort on that exercise.
-You will get 4, 8, 12, or 16 1 on 1 or 8 or 12 small group sessions per 30 day billing cycle that corresponds to your coaching partnership you selected.
-You will get a free 30 minute checkin session with me to make sure you're making consistent progress towards your goals at the gym or virtually
-You will get a comprehensive holistic blueprint for your specific goal or condition so that you can make faster progress in and outside of the gym
-You will get sent 1 holistic educational lesson, lifestyle skill, or resource from your blueprint with every fitness program that you get to keep.
-Full gym access at no additional cost on the days/times that we have scheduled sessions (gym membership is required to access the gym outside of our scheduled sessions)
-Program design is included with all fitness coaching partnership (Learn more below on individualized program design)
-Daily text message or phone call support during open business hours if you ever have any questions, or want clarification that you’re doing any part of your fitness program correctly. Otherwise you can always send me an email.
WHAT I EXPECT FROM YOU:
-Give me 100% effort in all testing, goal setting, fitness program co-creation sessions, and workouts unless I advise you to back off for safety/make better progress reasons.
-Track any objective or subjective metrics that you come up with and agree to during our goal setting session.
-Do your workouts frequently enough, safely, and effectively to make progress.
-Schedule and Show up on time for your sessions. If you're going to be late or can't make it to text me at (952) 381-4711 to let me know. Remember that I have a 24+ hour cancellation policy.
-Schedule and show up early for your fitness goals check in session and submit your checkin form to let me know how things are going 24 hours ahead of time.
-If getting coached at Los Campeones Gym, you agree to scan your card at the front desk before every session and follow all of the gym rules.
-Take advantage of your daily text support during open business hours and ask questions
-You commit to creating new actionable habits from the contents from your holistic blueprint on your own or with my coaching support in the areas of nutrition, sleep optimization, physical activity, exercise, lifestyle, and stress reduction by tapping into what you already know/any knowledge, lifestyle skills, or resources that you get from me that will both challenge and help you make progress towards your goals.
-To hold yourself accountable to doing your lifestyle action steps/workouts and understand that you will reap the benefits/progress from your efforts and not experience any of the benefits/not make progress from all of your lifestyle action steps/workouts you don't do consistently.
Whether client accessed programs, scheduled/attended their coaching sessions during the paid period or not is immaterial to this agreement. By signing this document, member is agreeing Life Strength Fitness shall not be held liable for member’s use or lack thereof of the service for which the member has purchased.
Payment Expectations:
Clients are required to pay in advance for their subscription. Clients will provide Life Strength Fitness with a valid credit card/debit card to keep on file. Your card will automatically get charged on the same numerical date every month. The recurring date can be changed upon your request if vacation, work travel, medical event, or unforeseen financial struggles arise.
Insufficient Funds:
If you have insufficient funds, an invalid credit card on file, put your account on a paid hold, or no longer have a Fitness Subscription, you will lose access to your programs within 24 hours of one of the previous listed events. You will have to choose a fitness coaching subscription and pay off the balance on your account to gain access to your programs again.
Scheduling & Canceling Sessions:
Life Strength Fitness LLC and its calendar system requires a 2-hour sign-up window before every 1 on 1 personal training session, small group personal training session, and a 49 hour sign up window before every baseline strength/performance testing, aerobic fitness test, and functional movement test. Members shall be able to sign up using the appropriate link on the website at www.lifestrengthfit.com
You will receive SMS and email reminders 48 hours and 24 hours in advance.
Should client be signed up and know that they will be unable to attend the said scheduled appointment, please cancel/reschedule your session 24+ hours in advance using the confirmation email. If you can’t locate your confirmation email text Andrew and he will take care of this for you. Should the member fail to cancel within 24 hours of the appointment and/or not show up to a scheduled appointment, the member will be “checked in” as attending the appointment.
Should the member wish to schedule another test or training session, they will have to purchase another session at full price and/or purchase a 60 minute ($120) or 90 minute ($180) retake test.
If you’d like to train additional times in a given week, additional 1 on 1 and small group personal training sessions can be purchased on the scheduling page.
1 on 1 Personal Training Sessions roll over into the next month if they don’t all get used and expire after 3 months.
1 month subscriptions for small group personal training sessions don’t roll over, so if you don’t use or schedule all of your sessions in your 1 month subscription cycle they will be forfeited.
Access to Programs:
A Fitness Coaching Subscription is required for the reservation/access to services and programs of Life Strength Fitness LLC and its affiliates. Whether client accessed their programs and/or attended training sessions during the paid period or not is immaterial to this agreement. Client agrees that Life Strength Fitness shall not be held liable for member’s use or lack thereof of the service for which the member has purchased.

Fitness Program Design:
After we co-create the first draft of your program, I'll send it to you for you to review it. If you approve of its design then your access will get changed from view only to editing powers. If you want adjustments made, I'll do those at zero cost to you. If throughout your program I read research or acquire another certification that contains more effective exercises or methods that will give you faster and more progress towards your goals I'll make changes to your program at zero cost to you. Any and all program change requests that you have after you approve each program and get started on it, will be billed at $50 per hour and must be paid up front. You’ll get an invoice to pay for the program design changes, which takes a few days to 1 week to complete.
BASELINE STRENGTH/PERFORMANCE, FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT, AND AEROBIC FITNESS TESTING AND ALL FOLLOW UP TESTING
Depending on what program methods your next program will use and what periodization methods were used in your current program additional testing may or may not be required to individualize your programs to you ensuring their safety and that you make progress towards your goals. These are private appointments that must be paid in advance and are required for all 1 on 1, small group, and remote fitness coaching partnerships. These can be conducted in person or virtually. There will be a link at the bottom of your program for your convenience to schedule the appropriate testing.
PERSONAL TRAINING TRAVEL CHARGE
For any testing or personal training sessions that are being done at your home or office gym that resides 11 or more miles away from south Minneapolis or Apple Valley, your card on file will be charged $35 for each appointment to account for additional travel time, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
MARKETING AND MEDIA:
Members of Life Strength Fitness LLC also agree that its employees or agents to have the right to take photographs, videotape or digital recordings during testing or training session to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of promotion. Member further consents that their first name, identity, struggles, progress, and goals may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or captions. I waive any rights, claims or interest I have to control the use of my identity in whatever media is used. I also understand that Life Strength Fitness is not responsible for any expense or liability incurred as a result of member’s participation.
Cancellation of partnership:
Clients that decide to cancel their coaching partnership must do so via their 7 day reminder email or submit this request in writing to andrew@lifestrengthfit.com. If submitted in less than 7 days from the renewal period you will be charged at your scheduled renewal date as a final payment for coaching services and will have the opportunity to be coached and benefit as usual for the next 30 days.
Fat Loss Fundamentals Program
Description of Services:
The Fat Loss Fundamentals Coaching Program comes with 1 on 1 goal setting with a coach, daily text support during current business hours and 24/7 email support, 4-30 min 1 on 1 lifestyle coaching sessions per month, online access to 15 educational lessons/ lifestyle skills, 3 progress trackers, circadian resetting technology, local blood and body composition testing labs, and over 30 recipes that will empower you to become the leaner, healthier person you want to be.
When you sign up you’ll get immediate access to the entire program allowing you to progress through the program at whatever speed you like.
You can access the program anytime through the link emailed to you or on the client login drop down menu at www.lifestrengthfit.com.
After you’re logged in you’ll be able download progress trackers to keep you organized, boost your motivation, keep yourself accountable, and activate your lifestyle coaching support where you get 4 sessions per month to schedule whenever it fits your schedule best. These sessions are there for you to use them if you want 1 on 1 coaching support to help you create new and effective action steps, troubleshoot obstacles, or upgrade existing action steps. You’ll get 4 new sessions every month.
By the end of this program you’ll have made fantastic progress, maybe even already achieved your goal. You’ll be in the habit of creating and successfully executing new lifestyle behaviors that serve you, have a deeper knowledge on relevant topics that will help you, new lifestyle skills, and additional resources that will empower you to keep making progress on your own.
If you don’t feel 100% confident that you can do this on your own, you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in a customized lifestyle coaching partnership on a month to month basis until you are 100% confident that you can do this on your own.
Client Expectations:
The degree at which you participate in this program and the coaching partnership is your responsibility. I am not liable for how much effort you put into our coaching sessions, your action steps, or the degree of results that you get.
Create action steps that will challenge you and help you make progress towards your goals
Work hard at your action steps that you create, delay short-term gratification, and stay focused on your long-term goals
Acquire new knowledge, lifestyle skills, progress trackers, and other resources that will make you more competent and confident that you can achieve your goal
Stay engaged in the process, even when struggles and obstacles present themselves
Work through struggles and obstacles to create solutions to them so they don’t set you back again in the future
Submit your weekly lifestyle coaching check in form 24 hours before every session
Show up on time for your scheduled sessions
Submit your lifestyle coaching follow up form after every session
Keep track of your own action steps and how often you do them
Evaluate your action steps for effectiveness and joy at the optimal time
Things I will do:
Ask you thought-provoking and open-ended questions to help you gain clarity and problem solve your way to solutions.
Use coaching tools such as affirmations, reflective listening, and summarizing to help inspire, create ownership, and motivate change.
Help you create measurable and actionable health goals, and supports you all the way until you feel 100% confident you can do this on your own.
Point you in the direction of health resources and special organizations applicable to your needs.
Provide you with emotional support, encouragement, and accountability.
Act as a supporter and a mediator in your relationship with the medical professionals you work with.
Provide you with top notch customer service and timely support via texting between 7am and 4pm. Otherwise you can email me outside of those hours if you need anything.
Acknowledge and celebrate your successes
Help you troubleshoot any obstacles that derailed you from doing your action steps,
Help you create/modify any action steps
Educate you on overweight/obesity and another health condition, if I’m comfortable with it, and collaborate with your physician to help you achieve the outcomes you and your physician want.
Provide you with goal-specific eduction via the Fat Loss Fundamentals online platform
Supply you with published research, books, or podcasts to guide you to deciding what you want implement into your action plan.
Teach you how to DIY measure your body circumferences.
Educate you on the calorie counting myth and what you eat is far more important
Teach you how long to implement lifestyle changes in order to experience measurable results
Educate you on how much sleep is enough to burn fat and improve my health
Educate you on how to easily reset all 20,000 circadian clocks to start getting terrific sleep
Educate you on what your active calorie burn should be/How much physical activity is optimal for fat loss
Educate you on the short/long term impacts of stress & how to combat them
Educate you on what are all of the additional holistic lifestyle protocols that I can do to keep making progress on achieving my ideal body image
Educate you on what are healthy sources of fats, protein, vegetables, fruits, dairy, etc.
Educate you on what foods or ingredients to avoid that are harmful to your health or goals
Educate you on what to get rid of in your house that isn’t serving you and teach you how to shop for replacements that will serve you
Provide you with or guide you to finding recipes
Educate you about certain blood tests, known measurement standards so you can know and heal yourself, assist you in finding somewhere to book the tests, and when you should re-test them.

During each session we will create easy to execute action steps that implements the educational information that are grounded in science for what/when/why you’re going to do something, what you can track to see if it worked, and how long you must do it to experience the results.

Things I will not do:
Diagnose an illness
Treat an illness
Offer medical advice
Recommend the discontinuance of medical treatments
Create a customized nutrition/meal plan to help mitigate the symptoms of an illness
Prescribe diets or supplements to treat the symptoms of medical and clinical conditions.
Perform the duties of a mental health professional and help you treat, cure, or fix emotional trauma, depression, or anxiety.
Conduct a laboratory evaluation
Payment Expectations:
Payment to have access to this program and coaching is made monthly through stripe. Accepted payments methods are major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.)

Lifestyle coaching
Description of Services:
Health and lifestyle coaching is a client-centered collaborative and supportive profession that helps empower you to achieve your goals and maintain long term optimal health. This happens through self-discovery of what you already know that can be used to create impactful action steps, self-monitor your lifestyle behaviors and progress to increase your accountability. Health and lifestyle coaches support their clients by helping them set meaningful goals, create action steps, plan for/troubleshoot obstacles, acquire goal-specific knowledge, lifestyle skills, and external resources that will help them.
You’ll get any of the following progress trackers that will help you week 1 of your program:
Action step organizer to keep track of your action steps
Action step evaluator to assess how effective it was
Action step acknowledgement to keep track of how often you do them .
On an as needed basis or weekly you’ll log on to the holistic content store, purchase, and download the next educational lessons, skills, and/or resources from your program
You get lifelong access to all of the material to reference and benefit from
You’ll schedule your next virtual 1 on 1 lifestyle coaching session whenever you need one or weekly where we:
Acknowledge and celebrate your successes
Help you troubleshoot any obstacles that derailed you
Help you create/modify/upgrade action steps that result in progress towards achieving your goal with a self accountability plan
Help you plan for any obstacles that might derail you and create solutions to them if they happen
The 4 and 8 coaching sessions per month coaching subscriptions get text support during current business hours (7am-6pm Monday/Thursday, 7am-4pm Wednesday/Friday, 7-11am on Saturday) and 24/7 email support for the following:
Answer any questions you have about the educational lessons
Review your food diary/nutritional tracker and give you guidance if requested
Review your sleep tracker data and give you guidance if requested
Help you upgrade/modify a recipe to help you achieve your goals and avoid sabotaging you.
Review a restaurant menu and give you options on what to order that supports your goals.
Review any food online/grocery store and let you know if it is a goal-supporting or sabotaging option.
Answer any wellness/fitness question that you happen to think of
Help you understand the supporting research for any of your educational lessons that you learned about that week
Point you in the direction of special organizations applicable to your needs.
Act as a supporter and a mediator in their relationship with a medical professional.
By the end of your customized lifestyle program you will have made fantastic progress or might have already achieved your goal. You’ll be in the habit of creating and successfully executing new lifestyle behaviors that serve you, have acquired all of the knowledge, skills, and additional resources that you need to finish achieving your goal completely on your own.
For whatever reason if you don’t feel 100% confident that you can do that you’ll have the opportunity to continue our coaching partnership afterwards on a month to month basis until you are 100% confident that you can do this on your own.

You will still get lifelong access to everything you've received up to that point in your lifestyle program. However, you will forfeit receiving the remainder of the educational materials, lifestyle skills, or resources in your program.
Purchasing of non-coaching products:
If you choose to purchase any product from the store, I do make a small commission on each sale.
